Several Issues Urging Discussion in Fixed-Bed Batch Gas Production Xin Junyi (Laiyang Fertilizer Factory, 265202) August 18, 2008 Introduction: In recent years, I have read many articles written by colleagues working in the field of fixed-bed batch gas production; among them are articles by experts who have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of this field, from which I have gained a great deal. However, some of the views presented are biased, and some have become outdated given the current basic conditions for gas production using the fixed-bed batch method ； The conditions on which some views are based are not clearly specified. This creates certain difficulties in comparing the gas production levels among various enterprises and in exchanging experiences and insights. In light of this, the author suggests that industry professionals urgently need to seek common ground on certain issues, in order to avoid misleading the gas production management practices of these enterprises. Below, I share my humble opinions on some of these views for discussion with colleagues in the industry.
