An approximate value would be fine too This is determined by the oil-to-water ratio in your facility’s feeding process; it can be calculated using VCM: 0.9, H2O: 1.0, PVC: 1.4, based on the conversion rate! 2. During the polymerization reaction in a 70-cubic-meter reactor, what is the height from the bottom of the reactor to the surface of the slurry? The volume can be estimated by considering the pressure difference between the water added to the polymerization reactor and the reaction pressure, along with the density of the PVC slurry; by dividing this value by the cross-sectional area of the reactor, the height can be determined. However, the density of the PVC slurry changes depending on the oil-to-water ratio, so the value obtained is only an estimate. 3. What is the maximum pressure in a 70-cubic-meter reactor during normal operation? The first layer of explosion-proof membrane on the top of the reactor in our facility has a pressure rating of 1.723 MPa. 4. Is a safety valve installed on the 70-cubic-meter tank? What is the pressure at which the safety valve opens automatically? There is no safety valve, only an explosion-proof membrane. Moreover, it is the 2nd floor that is in interlocked status.
