2008 was a year worth remembering and reflecting on for all coking enterprises across the country. We witnessed or experienced the excitement brought about by the booming coke market in the first half of the year, but at the same time we also faced the sharp drop in coke prices in the second half, a significant decline in corporate profits, even layoffs and the closure of businesses – all very painful experiences! But for those of us working in the coking process or technology, this is a rare asset and valuable experience. Most coking plants across the country have extended the coking time, sometimes to 40 hours, 60 hours, and even longer. We must not forget this unique experience and the lessons it teaches us~~~!!! Therefore, it is recommended that we conduct in-depth discussions on the management of coke ovens after extending the coking time, preferably using data and real-world examples, with a focus on aspects such as oven head temperature, pressure, raw gas output, and heating adjustments!
