Regarding the welding between the flange and the pipe

To help everyone achieve greater accuracy during the detailed design phase, should the welding between the flange and the pipe be carried out in a prefabrication factory or on-site? Most of them require welding in a pre-set factory, which facilitates control over welding quality and reduces on-site installation time. However, key welding joints must be reserved for on-site welding. Avoid design errors caused by a lack of understanding of the on-site conditions and manufacturing errors
For low-pressure pipes, welding can be done on-site; for high-pressure pipes, welding must be carried out in the factory. Additionally, only pipes and flanges made of the same material can be welded together, while pipes and flanges of different materials can only be connected using threads
Welding can be done first in a centralized manner, and then on-site welding can be carried out depending on the terrain or the size of the installation space.
