How should several terms in control valves be translated?

What is SPL short for?
%flashing: Percentage of flashing; steam jacket: Heat steam jacket; spring range: Range of expansion and contraction; on air failure AFC: In my understanding, this refers to a valve that closes in the event of an air supply failure; on elec failure EFC: Refers to a valve that closes in the event of a power outage

I’ve learned a lot, thank you. I roughly understand what it means, but I don’t know how to put it into words
In control valves: AFC: Air Fail Close – shuts off in case of air loss; EFC: Electrical Fail Close – shuts off in case of power loss
