The wall thickness of the thick-walled pipe does not correspond to the wall thickness of the straight section of the flange. The thick-walled pipe also needs to be trimmed. It is usually turned from bar stock. Is bar stock better than steel pipe? How did everyone solve it in the design? Why is the bar material not introduced when calculating the hole reinforcement? But the bar stock is not necessarily better than the steel pipe, because a certain pattern is formed when the material is poured or stretched.
