Safety valve calibration and constant pressure. How exactly does this constant pressure operate and what are the benefits? The constant pressure of the safety valve is determined by * * The Bureau of Technical Supervision is responsible for the pressure safety department’s verification when it is determined that the pressure must be set at the calibrated pressure to ensure discharge at this pressure and ensure safety, haha! ! The regulations on the operating pressure of the safety valve should be implemented in accordance with the "Steam Boiler Safety Technical Supervision Regulations". The constant pressure of the safety valve is based on the pressure gauge on the drum (steam drum). When adjusting, the valve with the highest opening pressure should be adjusted first, and then the safety valve with the lower opening pressure should be adjusted in sequence. Different types of safety valves have different adjustment methods. Here are three commonly used adjustment methods for safety valves.: 1. To adjust the weight safety valve, first place the weight at the calculated position of the lever, and then adjust the boiler combustion conditions so that when the boiler steam pressure reaches the adjusted safety valve action pressure, the safety valve should automatically open. Otherwise, the position of the weight on the lever should be adjusted inward or outward until this requirement is met, and then the weight should be fixed in this position. 2. The adjustment method of the spring-type safety valve is basically the same as that of the weight-type safety valve. That is, adjust the boiler combustion so that the pressure rises to the safety valve operating pressure. If the safety valve does not jump or takes off in advance, reduce the boiler pressure, and then adjust the spring compression nut (loosen when it does not jump, tighten when it takes off in advance) until the safety valve takes off within the allowable range of the operating pressure. 3. Pulse safety valve adjustment The pulse safety valve consists of a main safety valve (weight or spring type) and a pulse valve. When the pulse valve operates, it controls the take-off of the main safety valve, so its adjustment method is basically the same as the first two safety valves. The difference is that the first two safety valves adjust the main safety valve itself, while the pulse safety valve only needs to adjust the pulse.
