Purge with low-pressure nitrogen and discharge it to the flare system. How many times does it need to be replaced? It can be calculated simply using P1V1=P2V2. If you don’t know how to do the calculation, feel free to ask!
Our company uses vacuum pumping. As for transferring flammable gases or liquids to a place where they can be decomposed or stored, the vacuum level can reach –0.08 to –0.09 MPa; each reduction represents 80%, and this percentage is applied repeatedly until the pressure drops to 20% or less of the lower explosive limit
What flows through this system of yours – the tower, heat exchangers, valves, pipelines, etc. – is it acidic or alkaline? It is necessary to prepare a solution that is compatible with it in order to use it for cyclic washing
1. Fill the system with nitrogen; if it can be recovered using a pump, do so first, and then drain the liquid from the lowest point of the equipment. 2. Continue to fill with nitrogen for displacement and purging. 3. Even after such treatment, working with fire is strictly prohibited; if fire must be used, the system must be completely isolated and operations must be carried out on the smallest possible scale.
