National Industrial Catalysis Information Station, Gongcuixinfa (2009) No. 02: Notice on Soliciting Papers for the 6th National Conference on Industrial Catalysis Technology and Applications. Industrial catalysis technology is a core technology common to various industries, playing a role in energy conservation, emission reduction, efficient use of resources, as well as cost reduction and efficiency improvement. It covers important sectors such as petrochemicals, coal chemicals, natural gas chemicals, fine chemicals, biochemicals, and biomedicine. It is one of the key technologies underlying the production of modern chemicals, fuels, materials, pharmaceuticals, food products, etc., as well as environmental protection, and constitutes the core of industrial technological development. In recent decades, industrial catalysis technology has become a driving force and symbol of industrial technology development and progress. It is a key area for the industrialization of high-tech technologies that China has prioritized in recent years, and it is also an area that receives significant funding and support from the National Natural Science Foundation and the **Academy of Sciences of the United States**. The Annual Conference on Industrial Catalysis Technology will provide a platform for extensive exchanges among enterprises, universities, and research institutions. By leveraging the advantages of each party in terms of resources, funding, technology, and talent, it aims to significantly enhance the capacity for technological innovation and industrial competitiveness in the field of industrial catalysis, thereby promoting the development of the chemical industry. In order to work together to address the current international financial crisis, further improve the overall level of industrial catalysis technology in our country, enhance the transformation of scientific research results, and better promote various new catalysts as well as new technologies, processes, products, and equipment, and in line with the goals of serving the industry, driving technological progress within it, and jointly combating the financial crisis, the Sixth National Conference on Industrial Catalysis Technology and Applications is scheduled to be held from August 5 to 9, 2009, in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. To prepare properly, we are now seeking papers from experts, scholars, corporate leaders, as well as specialists in research, design, and colleges and universities in related fields. Papers that fall within the scope of submission and have not been published previously (including in electronic journals or on the Internet) are eligible to be submitted. 2. The paper complies with ** and the confidentiality regulations of various organizations; the author assumes full responsibility for it. 3. The paper can be written in Chinese or English. The papers accepted for the conference are published as a supplement to Industrial Catalysis (a core journal of Chinese science and technology). 4. The paper should be formatted in accordance with the requirements of the journal Industrial Catalysis, and its length should be within 4,000 words. The papers submitted for the competition should be saved in Word format (please indicate that they are submissions for the 6th Industrial Catalysis Conference), and can be uploaded online to the conference website (http://www.gychnh.cn) or sent by email to gychxxz@vip.163.com.
