How to establish standards for highlight posts?

A friend asked what kind of posts on the forum can be marked as highlights: http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-406087-1-1.html. In fact, there has never been a standard for this; moderators simply evaluate posts based on their quality, and some posts are indeed difficult to assess. Everyone can discuss whether it’s possible to establish a standard for measuring and evaluating whether a post deserves to be marked as a highlight. Although featured posts are no longer counted toward points, they still reflect the quality or level of a member’s posting skills. To get things started here, let’s first establish the criteria for high-quality posts: 1. The number of replies should be 20 or more ； 2. The topic post has received a score of 30 or above ； 3. Or the number of views reaches 500 or more ； 4. The topic post should be over 50 characters long. 5. It must be an original technical discussion post. The above are just my personal opinions; everyone is welcome to share their views and help establish standards. Any constructive proposals or suggestions will be rewarded generously. Taking up a sofa – the Super Edition has taken almost all aspects into consideration; there shouldn’t be anything left to add in terms of the major aspects. The size aspect seems open to discussion. This standard is not appropriate; as for whether it counts as a high-quality post, different people have different opinions. It cannot be defined by a single standard.
Well, I’m a casual person, and many of my friends are too. I’m afraid it would be hard to accept that many rules. Would it be enough if I met 3 or 2 of the rules? I like it here because rules aren’t necessarily a bad thing. But what really makes me love this place is the impact that a few people who don’t follow the rules have on me.
I strongly support Article 5; are the other articles too quantitative, making it difficult to implement? My idea is that the process of designating a post as a highlight shouldn’t be carried out by just one person; it should require at least 2–3 moderators to evaluate it before it can be marked as such. If a post is added to the highlights, there should definitely be some incentive in terms of points.
I suggest that the featured posts be selected in the recommended manner; all members can submit applications, and decisions are made through evaluation or voting by moderators, members, team members, advisors, etc.

As the original poster said, featured posts are not counted toward points, but they help to show the quality of the posts posted by others and their usefulness to everyone. I personally think what the original poster said makes sense; I would like to add one more point: suggestions that have significant practical and theoretical value should be marked as featured.
