I heard there was an accident during the heating process at Yitai. Does anyone know what happened? One really has to be careful when working in the chemical industry!
If the furnace goes out during the heating up process in the vaporization furnace, the fuel gas must be cut off promptly, and the system should be kept under negative pressure for at least 5 minutes (in practice, gas analysis is often not carried out) before attempting to restart the ignition
If the flame goes out during the heating process of the gasifier, the gas valves should be closed immediately, the steam valve should be opened slightly, and the extraction rate increased for 5–10 minutes. Care must be taken to ensure that the furnace temperature does not change too much. After that, the flame should be restarted to raise the temperature back to its level before the flame went out, and the temperature should then be raised further in accordance with the heating curve.
During the furnace heating process, a flameout can occur; in such cases, air needs to be used for replacement. It is necessary to conduct analyses to confirm that everything is in order before attempting to restart the flame. One must not start the furnace again without conducting any analyses after replacing the air based on experience alone – details determine success or failure
Backfire occurred during the heating of the furnace in Yitai, and the personnel on site tripped over pipelines while evacuating, resulting in casualties. It should be noted that backfires do occur during furnace heating, but they should not cause injuries or deaths. There are some issues with management!
