Help: What material is 214 stainless steel? What performance?
It seems this material is not common; it should be 314.
I’m not sure if you’re referring to S21400; if so, please refer to the following composition: C: 0.12% ; Mn: 14–16%, Cr: 17–18.5%, Ni: 1%; other impurity elements such as P and S are the same as those in other steel grades.

Stainless steel exhibits good corrosion resistance in many media, but it may corrode in other media due to its low chemical stability. Therefore, a single type of stainless steel cannot be resistant to corrosion in all media. Among its many industrial applications, stainless steel offers corrosion resistance that satisfies modern demands.
