Issues related to junior professional titles

Hello, everyone! I am an undergraduate who graduated last year; I am currently working at a chemical engineering design firm, engaged in automatic control design, and am still on probation. Today, the company issued a notice requiring us to take the Beijing Junior Professional and Technical Qualification Exam, which includes tests in computer skills as well as specialized subjects. This has left me quite confused. I thought that for a junior professional title, one only needed to have one year of work experience to obtain it automatically – so why is an exam necessary? If an exam is indeed required, do I need to take tests in English, computer applications, and specialized knowledge? Which professional and technical qualification should those of us working in automatic control fields take? Junior professional title – Assistant Engineer: Generally, after 1 year of experience, one can apply for this title by submitting the relevant documents at the talent center. I’m not sure what the junior professional title mentioned by the original poster refers to Is it a specialized evaluation system in Beijing? If so, it is recommended that the person in question check the Beijing personnel website for relevant information; details on which specific area of expertise is required should be available there.

Our company requires us to take these two exams: the National Computer Application Ability Test for Professional and Technical Personnel in Beijing, and the Beijing Junior Professional and Technical Qualification Exam. The National Professional and Technical Personnel Computer Application Ability Test, commonly known as the professional title computer exam, is linked to professional titles； The junior professional and technical qualification exam is similar to a certification for working in a professional field, and it has no relation to professional titles.
For the junior level, there is no exam required; it’s sufficient for the employer to provide the necessary documents, and you don’t need to do anything yourself
