Is it possible to share the workstations of our respective instruments? I have quite a few workstation software programs for instruments, and they all cost a lot of money. I was wondering if it would be possible to share our workstations with each other? Please, fellow sailors, share your opinions
Sure, sharing is better. But I’m not a leader, so I don’t need it for now. It’s a good idea, but it’s difficult to put into practice. Ordinary workstation software requires the original disc in order to be installed; you can only sell that disc to one person, and then those who buy it might find it too expensive, plus it’s not new. For many imported software programs, the manufacturers install restriction mechanisms at the interface level (so-called \"dogtags\"), especially in the Chinese versions; sometimes, just having the program alone is not sufficient.
