In the square of one city, there was a huge stone. The stone took up a lot of space and hindered traffic in the city. Engineers were called in and asked how to remove that stone and how much it would cost. There was a giant stone in the city’s square; it occupied a lot of space and prevented vehicles from moving around in the city. So people brought in a few experts to ask them how they could move that huge rock and how much it would cost to do so. One engineer said that the stone needed to be broken into pieces using gunpowder, and then those pieces transported away one by one, and that this would cost 8,000 rubles. Another engineer said that a large roller should be brought under the stone and used to move it away, and that this would cost 6,000 rubles. One engineer said, “The stone should first be blown up with gunpowder, and then the fragments should be transported away using vehicles.” This will cost 8,000 rubles. ”Another person said, “A large roller should be placed under the stone, and then the stone can be pulled away using that roller; it will cost 6,000 rubles.” ” And one man said, “I’ll remove the stone and charge 100 rubles for it.” While a farmer said, “I’ll move that stone for just 100 rubles.” ” They asked him how he would do it. And he said, “I’ll dig a large hole right next to the stone.” ; I’ll spread the soil from the hole over the area, put the stones in the hole, and then level it with soil.” Everyone asked him how to move them. He said, “I dug a big hole next to the stone, pushed the soil I dug out everywhere in the square, then pushed the stone into the hole, and filled the hole with soil.” ” The farmer did as he was told, and he was given 100 rubles; plus another 100 rubles for his clever idea. The farmer followed those instructions and received 100 rubles. Furthermore, because he came up with such a clever and simple method, people rewarded him with 100 rubles.
