How to insulate the roof of vertical cylindrical steel welded storage tanks thermally or coldly? Especially the anti-slip steps on the top of the tank, how to waterproof them? urgent! ! !
If you really want to do thermal insulation, it is difficult to handle this part on site. It is recommended to use glass glue to seal the gap after making an outer metal protective layer of aluminum plate or other materials.
The tops of the oil tanks in our unit are not waterproof or insulated, and the oil tanks I came into contact with were not insulated. Maybe I have too little knowledge. I suggest experts answer.
The top of the tank does not need to be insulated because there is a gas space. But I have also done it. The method is very clever and uses angle steel to wrap the edges. It depends on the level of the construction team.
The top of the tank can be covered with insulation cotton first, and then with fireproof glass glue (there is a material imported from the UK, which works very well, but the cost is too high. )cement. The anti-slip ladder on the top of the tank can be made of steel bars with serrated spaces. This can effectively solve the problem of rain and snow accumulation.
Are there any problems with domestically produced fireproof glass glue? We have used glue before, but the effect was not good. Can't the protective iron sheet alone be used to prevent rain? The expert will solve it! :handshake
The top of the tank generally does not undergo complicated thermal insulation treatment. The treatment we usually do is to use 20mm sepiolite, and then apply two oils and two cloths. Generally speaking, it has little effect. Because the tank top has a slope, there is no water. As for the waterproofing of the pipe wall insulation, a rainproof eaves board should be welded to the edge angle steel on the tank top to protect the insulation layer.
In case of special requirements, polyurethane and other thermal insulation materials can be used.
If you need better insulation, use foam materials and use iron packaging on the outside. Generally, it can also be packed with foam materials.
Storage tank thermal and cold insulation: This is what our company does. 1. Lightweight oil tanks are kept cold. In order to prevent the high temperature of the sun from increasing the volatilization of oil on the top of the tank in the hot summer, the top and wall of the tank are coated with a layer of heat-insulating anti-corrosion glue --- Liangliang glue (domestic). ; Another way is to spray water. The floor of the tank area is made of cement and the firewall is intact. A pool can be set up in the tank area, a spray pipe can be arranged on 2/3 of the tank wall, and a water pump can be set up outside the tank area. This can ensure the breathing loss of the storage tank and reduce losses in hot summer. 2.Heavy oil tank insulation: First, apply a layer of waterproof glue on the top of the tank, then stick a positive water-type aluminum magnesium silicate board on the top of the tank, lay a tinned iron sheet on the board, and use a smooth joint at the iron sheet interface. The overlapping area is slightly larger, so as to prevent rainwater from entering the insulation layer. 3. Polyurethane foaming agent can also be used. The same problem is how to waterproof.
What is more advanced now is to apply hollow ceramic particle heat-insulating paint. There are regulations on the anti-slip on the top of the tank, and the thickness of the paint layer should not exceed the anti-slip.
On the 11th floor, please explain how to install the anti-slip on the top of the tank.
