My girlfriend works in chemical engineering; she’s busy working on projects and creating drawings all day long, and often has to work overtime at night. Is this the norm for those in this field? Where is it better to work?

It’s quite exhausting. In our company, there’s also a female colleague who works in chemical engineering; she’s very busy, as the manager keeps demanding drawings and asking for changes to them. But it’s still good for women to study chemical engineering and work in process-related fields.
