The quality of maintenance is really problematic :@ Large-scale operating equipment should at least run for over a year before it needs to be repaired. :L
1. Is there a problem with the process: such as liquid ammonia in the inlet gas; The hydrogen-to-nitrogen ratio is severely imbalanced ; The system resistance is too high. 2. Maintenance aspect: Is the thrust clearance appropriate? ; Verify that the coupling adjustment shims are of the same specification and check again ; Is the rotor strictly dynamically balanced? The turbine cycles in our factory generally need to have their bearings replaced after about three months of operation. The reason is that operation at this temperature for an extended period results in a consistently high hydrogen ratio.
Generally speaking, when the hydrogen content is relatively high, the load on the compressor is reduced. In your facility, the centrifuges need to be overhauled too frequently, at the same frequency as the reciprocating pumps. Normally, a centrifuge is considered to be operating at an acceptable level if its service life exceeds one year. It seems necessary to conduct a thorough investigation to identify the problems
We also need to check whether it is powered by steam or electricity. If it is electrically powered, some components use rolling bearings, which generally require inspection every three months and replacement every six months. If it is powered by steam, sliding bearings are used, and these can usually last for a very long time; ours have been in use for over two years with no problems at all
It is mainly caused by excessive rotor temperature; at high temperatures, hydrogen facilitates hydrogen corrosion. By enlarging the inlet pipe for the protective gas, the rotor temperature has been reduced, thereby extending the service life of the bearings to a limited extent.
