1. When working, pickling workers must wear protective goggles, masks, rubber gloves, rubber aprons, work clothes, and long rubber boots. 2. The pickling tank should be equipped with independent exhaust ventilation. The fan should be turned on during both the preparation of the acid solution and the pickling process. Fencing should be installed around the pickling tank. 3. When transporting acid or pouring it into the tank, use specialized lifting equipment and fixtures. When working in an acid cleaning tank whose rim is above the ground level, it is not allowed to stand on the rim. 4. When preparing the acid solution, water should be poured into the tank first, followed by the slow addition of the acid solution to the tank. To prepare the mixed acid, water is first poured into the tank, followed by hydrochloric acid, then nitric acid, and finally sulfuric acid. The preparation process must not be reversed. 5. The temperature of the workpieces to be pickled must meet the specified requirements. 6. The workpiece should be lowered into the liquid surface as slowly as possible. It is strictly prohibited to bring alkaline substances into the acid tank. If the human body comes into contact with acid, it should be rinsed immediately, and necessary medications should be available at the work site. 7. The parts after pickling should be cleaned immediately, and the acidity on their surface should be neutralized in accordance with the process specifications. 8. Regularly inspect tools and fixtures, lifting equipment, and ventilation ducts for corrosion. When pickling large workpieces and sheets, the motors of cranes (or monorail cranes) and other specialized lifting equipment must be of a sealed type; their steel cables and lifting fixtures should be regularly inspected and replaced on a periodic basis. When working above the groove surface, it should be covered. 9. The preservation and storage of acids shall comply with relevant regulations. Waste acid solutions should be collected centrally or treated uniformly. When using pipes to drain acid or waste liquid, do not suck it in with your mouth.
