I have a question for everyone: the media in question are liquefied gas and alkaline solution, as well as liquefied gas and water. We are a manufacturing factory that is producing a liquid hydrocarbon alkali washing tank for a chemical plant; it was designed by Qingdao No.1 Design Institute, with the material inlet pipe being 200 millimeters away from the inner wall of the tank. Slits 10 millimeters wide and 1.2 meters long are made on both sides of the inlet pipe, while the bottom of the inlet pipe is blocked by a plug plate.

For the material pipe of the alkali washing unit to enter the tank, a Venturi tube is used; approximately 6 meters is sufficient for adequate contact, while 50 centimeters is enough for the material pipe to enter the tank.
Aren’t you worried about alkali solutions present in liquefied gas? Could the original poster explain this in more detail? Thank you. Also, have you used coagulators for water washing? We use coagulators for both alkali washing and water washing; I’m not sure if that’s correct. I’m sorry for embarrassing everyone with this for the first time.
