Pressure spraying, via nozzles, can achieve recrystallization in the pigment industry; the most commonly used method elsewhere is probably spray drying. The nozzle functions here as a component, typically consisting of a nozzle seat, an orifice plate, and a gem (the wear-resistant part at the outlet; artificially made and costing a few dollars each).
