I earnestly request the relevant standards regarding safety distances.

The safety distance is a concept introduced in the Work Safety Law and is also frequently used in safety inspections. But is there a standard for a safe distance now? No! All fire protection codes specify fire separation distances, but there are no clear regulations regarding the distances that should be maintained in the event of explosions or the spread of toxic substances. This is also a problem that plagues safety inspectors.
Although distance is a tangible concept, it’s indeed difficult to determine the standard, and failing to do so can become an excuse for holding someone accountable!
This year, our province has made maintaining safe distances a key focus of its efforts to address this issue. I wonder what strategies the higher authorities have in mind; I really hope they can provide us with some kind of compilation or guide.

Safety distance? That’s such a broad topic! There’s electrical safety, fire safety, chemical safety, and so on! Basically, every area involves some form of safety distance

All I know is the safety distances involved in the two standards for the 2nd floor!
The standards are the two mentioned on the 2nd floor. As for the distances of explosion and toxin spread mentioned on the 3rd floor, these are generally calculated by software; the models are fixed, so the calculation results are more or less the same
In my opinion, when it comes to ensuring safety, standards and regulations are certainly important, but what’s most crucial is to extract the relevant information from those standards and regulations and present it in a simple, easy-to-understand, and memorable form.
The concept of safety distance actually has two meanings: one is the safety and hygiene distance, and the other is the safety and fire prevention distance. The former is of concern to environmental protection agencies, while the latter is of concern to fire departments. Currently, there is indeed no unified standard regarding safety distances; the requirements related to such distances are generally found scattered in various industry standards for health protection distances and fire protection design specifications.
For now, refer to the petrochemical regulations and carry out some quantitative calculations as a reference.:handshake
