When simulating the pump as a weightless rigid body, where should the fixing point of the pump be located? Since the simulation of a weightless rigid body is primarily used to calculate thermal displacements, I have placed the fixing point at the bottom of the pump body, rather than at the fixing point of the support. I’m not sure if this is correct
We all set the pump outlet as a fixed point.
Does the initial displacement at the pump outlet need to be considered? Is it true that the initial displacement of a small pump has little impact on the results?
You can add an additional displacement; generally, the pump outlet is fixed in place.
