Installation location of the pressure gauge on the deaerator

Boiler water is deoxygenated using steam thermal deoxidation; the steam is introduced at the bottom of the deoxidizer’s packing. The deoxidizer must be maintained at a slight positive pressure. So, where are your pressure measurement points located? At the upper part of the filler cylinder? Or the center? The lower part again?
On our unit, there is a vent pipe at the top of the deaerator; the measurement points are installed in that upper area, which prevents the pressure from reflecting the actual pressure inside the boiler, resulting in unstable steam addition.
The pressure gauge of a thermal deaerator is usually located on the deaeration head.
Two points should be installed: one at the deaeration head to measure the inlet steam pressure, and another in the middle to measure the pressure of the deaerated water
