Boiler training

Furnace operators are considered to be personnel working with special equipment; they are trained and assessed by the quality and technology supervision bureaus of various cities, or by the county-level bureaus authorized by them, who then issue corresponding qualification certificates. If your organization wishes to conduct training on its own, please check with the local quality and technology supervision bureau to see whether this is permitted. If it is allowed, ask them about the relevant training content.

First of all, training is definitely necessary in terms of heat treatment processes, followed by basic operating procedures, processing techniques, operational safety, and so on.

Boiler operator training should be the responsibility of the Technical Supervision Bureau; internal training within enterprises can only take the form of targeted training tailored to the specific processes of that enterprise, after the person has received certification through training conducted by the Technical Supervision Bureau.

The theoretical part covers basic knowledge such as pressure, temperature, media, fuel, combustion, ventilation, and heat transfer. The uses and operating procedures for boiler auxiliary equipment are also explained. Topics include boiler feedwater and boiler water standards, as well as common water treatment methods. Operational guidelines for boiler operation are provided, along with information on the hazards caused by scale, soot, and coking, and the methods to prevent them. The types of common boiler accidents, their causes, prevention measures, and handling methods are covered. Basic knowledge regarding boiler maintenance is also included, as well as the safety regulations related to proper boiler operation. As for practical operations, these include inspections before starting the boiler, preparations, ignition, pressure increase, operation, adjustments, shutting down the boiler, etc. Inspections and adjustments of safety accessories are also part of this section, along with the operation of various auxiliary machines and equipment.
