A double-flange level gauge is sufficient, but attention should be paid to the selection of diaphragms.
Is there any stirring in it? If it is available and the range is less than 500mm, you can use a differential pressure transmitter with a convex diaphragm. The diaphragm material can be 316 and above. If it is available, use radar ultrasonic or something like that, or add a balance tank, flange type or electric float.
Try not to use radar ultrasound in situations where there is steam or condensation. Double flange differential pressure is okay, but it is best to configure it redundantly. Choose a PTFE ball valve as the root valve, and choose a larger diameter, such as 80. The transmitter diaphragm 316 will definitely not work. Tantalum and PTFE coatings are about the same. At least choose a big joint venture brand.
Is your medium density accurate? If it is accurate, just use double flanges. If not, I suggest guided wave radar.
Does the material hanging on the probe affect the measurement?
Or use a double flange liquid level meter. If the density of the medium changes, you can use two double flanges, one to measure the change in medium density and the other to measure the liquid level. Just compensate the two signals in between.
