Dear experts, I would like to ask why, every time I edit the dashed line and save it, it doesn’t appear when I view it later? The arcs are the same issue too – they don’t appear after each save.
When viewing it on the screen, does it mean that the line is not visible, or that a dotted line appears as a solid line? This post was last edited by peini192 on 2009-3-6 10:23.]
Every time, the dashed line appears as a solid line
In that case, I think it might be due to one of the following: 1. A problem with the layer settings – has the dashed line layer been set up correctly, and was the line style selected properly? If the layer is chosen correctly, then there should be no issues; it’s possible that a separate line style was assigned to that dashed line in the “Object Properties” settings. 2. A problem with the line scale – enter “ltscale” in the command, change its value, and see if the dashed line changes. It’s possible that the value of “ltscale” isn’t set appropriately
Double-click on the dashed line you have drawn with the mouse; a menu will appear on the left side of CAD. Under the \"Basic Options\" section, there is an option called \"Line Scale\" – you can simply change the value in that field.
Regenerate it, or change the line scale in the properties
Adjust the linear scale in the properties, or adjust the global linear scale factor
Agree with what was said on floor 8; these two methods are quite commonly used
If using the RE command doesn’t work, then adjust the linear scale in the properties
Please follow the suggestion from Floor 10, OP!
