I received an email from a foreigner today that mentioned the word Swagelok; after asking a technician, I learned that it refers to what we call ferrule coupling. By the same logic, I thought of the quick connectors for instruments. I’ve come here specifically to share it with everyone. A seagelok is likely a bayonet lock type connection; bayonet locks are commonly used in the electronics industry. Pneumatic Quick Couplers are frequently used as connectors for instrument air. seagelok: Sealedyne. It is a specialized company that supplies components for fluid and gas systems, valves, cartridge connectors, hoses, quick connectors, and cartridges.
