Does anyone know how the non-impact check valve works and where it is used in the chemical industry?
It is generally designed as an axial flow type and is used in situations where vibration is prone to occur, such as compressors.
Usually refers to the axial flow check valve. A flip-type check valve can also be used but it must have an external damping cylinder to avoid a huge impact force when the valve is closed. It is mainly used at the compressor outlet.
