I downloaded CADworx Plant from the Internet, but it’s all in English. Does anyone know how to get a Chinese translation version? Could you provide it?
Open the Chinese.dic file in the support directory using WORD, convert traditional characters to simplified ones, save it as a text file, then change the extension of this text file to dic. Run plant, click on setup, then click on config; look for a languagefile there, and replace the English.dic file with the one you just created. If you save it, it will be localized. For image localization as well, the forum provides relevant instructions: you need to download a file and then reference each of those files one by one (provided that your database is in Chinese).
If I follow your method, the characters produced are all messy and unreadable. What should I do? Did I make some mistake somewhere?
Will you add me on QQ? I’ll explain it in detail to you.
Could you tell me what this software is used for?
The above estimate is incorrect because you chose the simplified format during conversion
It’s due to an incorrect encoding; open the English-language file in Notepad and paste the converted Chinese text there to replace it. I just hope someone can create versions of the pipes and flanges in Chinese. It really does work – it reduced it by over 50%!
May I ask how to convert it to Simplified Chinese? Why is it showing garbled characters? What encoding to use?
It’s better to use the intuitive English for such things. The meaning of \"localization\" is not very direct. Everyone should use it with more effort; the more you use it, the better it will become.
I haven’t used Cadworx Plant yet; I need to learn it*
