Is it more reasonable to place the nitrogen replacement pipeline for LNG tanks at the top or the bottom of the tank?
Enter from the top and go all the way to the bottom, including the bottom of the annular space and the bottom of the inner tank floor
The bottom part is fairly reasonable. Insert from the top (near the inner tank wall) until to the center of the bottom of the inner tank.
Nitrogen purging is primarily used for purging and drying before LNG feeding, while the LNG outlets are located at the top of the tank. To achieve effective purging, they should be placed at the bottom of the inner tank; the circumferential space as well as the insulation layers above and below the tank bottom can also be led from the inner tank.
Since air is heavier than nitrogen, air should enter from the top and exit from the bottom
