Our company is about to work on an 80-ton methanol project, and we need to gather some information. I would be extremely grateful if everyone could offer some guidance

Gas production is achieved through a two-stage pure oxygen conversion process with heat exchange between the stages; compression is carried out using a triple-stage compressor. Synthesis takes place via a Ruhr-type water-cooled first-stage synthesis followed by a David-type air-cooled second-stage synthesis. Hydrogen recovery is accomplished using PSA. An additional small-scale ammonia synthesis unit can also be installed, and distillation is performed using a three-column double-effect distillation system. The conversion pressure is set at 3.5 MPa for natural gas, and 5.5 MPa for synthesis; the synthesis catalyst used is NC--309 or XNC--98, while the conversion catalyst is provided by Tianyi Company. Have Donghua, Tianchen, or Chengda handle the design.
