Is it permitted by the regulations to unload light oil within the plant area? What safety factors need to be taken into account during the unloading process?
1 When unloading, static grounding is absolutely necessary; The wheels need to be supported by sleepers to prevent them from sliding ; Keep the driver’s keys safe. 2 The operator must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow the specific operating procedures ; 3 Before and during the unloading process, check to ensure that there are no welding or burning operations in the unloading area ; 4 When opening the tank truck lid, care must be taken during the operation; do not strike the air chamber of the tank truck with a heavy object ; 5 If a leak is detected, the unloading operation must be stopped immediately, and the valves upstream and downstream should be closed. Work shall not be resumed without treatment and the approval of the person in charge of the relevant department. 6 If a fire breaks out during unloading, all operations must be stopped immediately. Cut off the source. If possible, the unaffected oil tankers should be moved out of the danger zone. The fire-fighting equipment at the oil depot site should be used immediately. With proper safety measures in place, the device can be unloaded.
I wonder what your equipment area is? Generally, light oils have high volatility, and unloading them in the plant area can be very dangerous; it should be prohibited. This is my personal opinion for reference only.
Who has the specifications for unloading? Please upload them; help is appreciated! Thank you!
