The impact of the economic crisis on me

I came to a carbon factory in 2009; it was a foreign-owned company, and I worked as a project manager there for two months. The boss was quite satisfied with my work. But then the economic crisis hit, and production plans were reduced to half of what they used to be; no new projects were initiated either. My supervisor talked to me and said that the maintenance workshop needed people, so I ended up working as a mechanical engineer. It’s frustrating. A few days ago, the procurement manager was fired. What about you?
I’m fine; the company is small, so it doesn’t have much impact. There are still two projects to work on. You can’t lose your job

Students majoring in chemical engineering at our school used to have many options when looking for jobs, but this year only 4 of them received job offers – how unfortunate, my seniors!
