Determination of component dimensions for manholes

May I ask how the dimensions of parts such as the flange lugs and cover lugs for manholes are determined? Are there any relevant books, PDFs, or papers? I’m very troubled; thank you so much.

There are no specified dimensions in the manhole standards; there is also a parts catalog for manholes that accompanies those standards, and it contains various dimensions.
Based on the fit between the flange cover and the flange, this dimension can be calculated (it is also possible to create a 1:1 scale model), but the thickness must be determined by oneself; generally, a greater thickness is chosen for higher pressures.
Let experience decide; anyway, not much material is used, so just make it thicker!
The 1995 version of the manhole standards comes with accompanying construction drawings that provide detailed information; they seem to have been prepared by Tianchen Chemical Engineering Company – I can’t remember the exact name exactly
They are available in the standard manhole catalogues, but they need to be purchased at a cost
There is a standard: JB/T580-1979 Rotary cover manhole, which contains all the detailed dimensions.
Is the poster referring to the dimensions of the lifting shaft and the fixing rotation mechanism for the manhole flange blind plate? This size must be calculated based on the weight of the manhole flange on the equipment, as the pressure inside the equipment varies. The thickness of manhole flange blind plates varies greatly, which leads to significant differences in weight; moreover, the fixing lugs used also differ
