Thread Content
I remember Old Bu posting a thread before at http://bbs.hcbbs.com/viewthread.php?tid=276155&page=1#pid1308633, where a detailed explanation of “number of threads” and “valid threads” was given. Also, in one of his posts he mentioned that old members have a higher \"number of posts\" than the number of \"valid posts\", while new members have a lower number of posts compared to the number of valid posts; unfortunately, that post can no longer be found. Now here’s the problem: I tried to find a reply post from an old member using the method from Final Fantasy, and although he has many posts, I was unable to locate it. I’m not sure what’s causing this. Guess 1: Could it be that when previous posts were deleted in bulk, the statistics weren’t updated by subtracting one from them? Guess 2: Could it have been deliberately set up by the cleaner? Old Bu isn’t here, so I’m not sure who else would care about this issue. I hope members who are interested in improving the forum or identifying its flaws will participate in the discussion. Last edited by sister on 2009-3-6 19:13]
I think, based on what my sister said, it’s possible that the previous posts were deleted in bulk; also, if those previous posts were merged, this kind of situation can occur as well
