When installing a pump, the oil and scale on the anchor bolts must be removed completely. Should the grease from the threaded parts of the anchor bolts also be cleaned off?
There’s no need to remove this; it doesn’t have much of an impact
This isn’t needed; generally, the threads also need to be coated with grease
There are no special requirements for this. Generally speaking, once it’s cleaned, you still need to apply a layer on top. This is mainly done to prevent rusting and to maintain the bolts
There is no need to remove the grease from the threaded part of the anchor bolts, as grease is normally applied to their surface to protect the threads.
