Is Beijing Sander’s SDN process an ideal option for treating coking wastewater? What are its technological features?
SDN is the abbreviation for Strenthened De-nitrification Nitrification. The SDN process (enhanced denitrification/nitrification) is a biological treatment method that utilizes advanced bio-denitration technologies for the treatment of coking wastewater; it achieves removal rates of over 90-96% for ammonia nitrogen and COD.
The impact resistance of this process is inferior to that of the design by Jiao Nai Yuan. It would be fine if the two could be combined. Everyone, come up with some ideas!
To be more specific, recently there has been a lot of foam in the return wells, and I’m not sure how to deal with it. Using defoamers works well, but it might cause high levels of ammonia nitrogen – is that correct? This post was last edited by johncom on 2009-3-12 09:12]

The difficulty in treating coking wastewater lies in the quality of the pretreatment process; the efficiency of recovering organic substances such as crude benzene and phenol, as well as the efficiency of removing ammonia, directly affects the success of subsequent biochemical treatment processes. Different types of coal coking result in wastewater with varying qualities, so it is impossible to use a single treatment process to handle all cases. It is the best approach to make appropriate additions and improvements based on the actual situation.
