According to reports, during the casting process of cast iron, some sprues are cut with gas cutting. During work, our cast iron furnace bottom is also cut with gas cutting, but some cast iron cannot be cut. Does anyone know which cast iron can be cut and which cannot? What’s the reason! The use of oxygen and acetylene flame gas cutting on cast iron materials is limited to ductile iron, and is not applicable to other cast irons such as gray iron.
