The temperature safety gate often freezes up; what are good ways to avoid this?

We have encountered similar situations at work as well; the solution is to ensure proper heat dissipation of the safety barrier, for example by installing cabinet fans or lowering the indoor air-conditioning temperature slightly
It is likely a quality issue with the safety gate. The temperature-isolated safety gate contains an MCU that is responsible for monitoring temperature and converting it into a 4-20mA current signal for use by the DCS system. Interference may cause the MCU inside the safety gate to crash; there is probably a flaw in the design of the safety gate. It would be advisable to add a hardware watchdog circuit, and the manufacturer can be contacted to resolve this issue.
I think it’s simple – just switch to another brand. But it’s not necessary to switch to foreign brands; the safety barriers made in China are now quite good as well. The hundreds of safety barriers we have used have never experienced any problems with freezing. Safety barriers are usually installed inside cabinets, so heat dissipation is generally not an issue; it’s likely a problem with the hardware itself.

Temperature safety guards come in versions with and without temperature sensing; I have both, and they are very reliable. What does ‘freeze’ mean? Does the output remain unchanged? If you don’t explain clearly, we can’t help you.
