The workshop summed up experience during the shutdown, added crossover lines to the original process, and replaced some DN40 pipelines with DN80 pipelines, so that the liquid phase at the bottom of each gas separation tower and container is all self-pressurized to the tank area in liquid phase. The remaining gas phase can be fully self-pressurized to the inlet of the gas compressor or the oil and gas separator for fractionation according to the process conditions. When the gas separation is stopped, the circulating water of each cooler must not be stopped, and the heat source of the reboiler must not be stopped to increase the pressure in the gas separation system. After the pressure cannot be increased, the method of injecting steam at the bottom of the tower is used to increase the temperature and pressure to drive all the gas in the system to the inlet of the gas compressor or the fractionated oil and gas separator. In this way, there is very little gas left in the gas separation, which avoids the waste of a large amount of liquid hydrocarbons being flared and ensures the safety of the equipment when the gas separation is shut down. When the gas separation line is renovated, it cooperates with the air compressor. The original high-wattage secondary inlet to the air compressor can continue to be used. In addition, it can enter the primary inlet or the oil and gas separator of fractionation according to the requirements and working conditions when the gas separation is shut down (steam can enter the oil and gas separator for dehydration when catching gas). After the transformation, the downtime of the gas separation system can be shortened to 2-3 days, and the downtime avoids wasting more than 100,000 yuan of liquid hydrocarbons.
