After the system pressure of the demineralized water in the main plant was changed from 1.0 MPA to 0.5 MPA, the self-pressure available in the raw water washing line in the workshop was no longer sufficient to meet the process requirements. During this maintenance work, a new DN80 pipeline was added before the demineralized water enters the deaerator, connecting it to the acid water pump; thereafter, when water washing is required for distillation purposes, the acid water pump can be used to increase the pressure before carrying out the washing, thus meeting the operational requirements. The most frequent washing interval at our factory is every 10 days.

Your method only treats the symptoms rather than the root cause; it’s better to identify the reasons for salt formation in the distillation tower and work to reduce or avoid it!
Fresh water can be used for washing; the pressure of this fresh water is 0.65 MPa, which helps to reduce costs
We also wash it with fresh water; it’s cheap.
