A comprehensive replacement of the economizer in the waste heat boiler was carried out, with the 711th Research Institute of CSSC Corporation responsible for the design and modification. In the modified waste heat boiler, both the high-temperature and low-temperature economizers adopt a modular box structure. Fixed rotary steam soot blowers controlled automatically by PLCs have been installed in these economizers, and an additional hot water preheater has been added to raise the temperature of the deaerated water entering the steam generation system, thereby increasing steam production and achieving energy savings and efficiency improvements. Meanwhile, the Hunan construction team repaired the lining of the waste heat boiler, and the repair was successful.
