Can asbestos gaskets be used in crude benzene refining?

The crude benzene refining unit with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of pure benzene is currently being prepared, with pipeline pressure testing and purging underway. I have a question: if all pipelines are fitted with asbestos gaskets, I wonder what the outcome will be – will there be any leaks? The graphite metal wound gaskets that were used in the past were basically disposable and difficult to reuse. Another idea is to use asbestos to cover the PTFE gaskets in order to save costs. I wonder if it’s necessary to know how your identical devices are applied! Thank you first!
Asbestos gaskets must not be used for flammable, explosive, or toxic media. You can consider PTFE gaskets.
When selecting gaskets, factors such as the fluid medium, the nominal pressure of the pipe flange, the operating temperature, and the type of sealing surface of the flange need to be taken into consideration. Refer to the Guidelines for Selection of Flange Gaskets Commonly Used in Petrochemical Industries (SHB-S01).
In SH3059-2001, asbestos rubber gaskets are used for media such as water, steam, air, and other inert gases, where the temperature and pressure are not high and fluctuate little.

Personally, I think using PTFE-lined asbestos gaskets is a good option, but gaskets are generally reused very rarely.
