Catalyst feeding valve

In heavy oil catalytic cracking units, the valve core and seat of the catalyst feed valve (ball valve) are severely worn. Could anyone recommend some manufacturers or share any experience with using such valves?
The ball valve doesn’t have a valve core! If the wear is severe, you can try a ball valve coated with tungsten carbide!

Two butterfly valves can be used as a substitute; we use them here with great success. It’s important to pay attention to the catalyst, and to make sure that no debris gets in, as this helps with the maintenance of the valves
Can a butterfly valve be used in place of the catalyst feeding valve? Prolonged erosion of the valve seat and valve plate will result in poor sealing!
