What does the TZG3/4\"-f6-10 model designation mean?
Generally, valves are defined either according to mechanical standards or American standards. This model mentioned by the original poster is something I’ve seen for the first time; I need to learn more about it. Keeping an eye on this! ! There are two sizes. I guess they might be safety valves, haha
TZG is a material, an stainless steel; 4” seems to be the valve size. It’s better to specify the type of valve as well
TZG3/4\" – this shouldn’t be a domestic standard; it should be standardized to DN20 valves according to domestic standards
We usually use the valve codes from CAV. For the model you mentioned, it’s clear that its nominal diameter is 3/4"; Φ6 likely indicates the inner diameter, while 10 represents the nominal pressure. As for TZG, it is probably a numbering system used by the valve manufacturer itself
TZG3/4\"-ф6-10: Without any reference points, based solely on these symbols and numbers, my personal interpretation is that it might refer to a special steel material with a nominal diameter of TZG 3/4\", commonly known as 6/8 inch, which is equivalent to ф26.8. The 6-10 likely indicates the wall thickness :lol
It seems to be the model of a safety valve; size: 3/4"; f6-10, I don’t understand it. It would be better to provide the valve type, as that makes it easier to determine. The one in front should be the material, in accordance with national standards.
