Computational problems in FORTRAN

While working on the example problems, I encountered the following issue: Fortran error at line 1 PROFIT=DW*0.528+BW*0.264-FW*0.264-QR*4.7e-9 invalid token? What’s going on here? If I make some changes, a Fortran error will occur stating that column 2 must be blank in Fortran statements. Please give me some advice; thank you. There must be more than 6 spaces before a FORTRAN statement
Having 6 empty spaces ahead doesn’t seem to solve the problem either
Do I need to define the types for several variables in the formula?
There must be more than 6 spaces before a FORTRAN statement. Indeed, I was careless. Following the suggestions from the folks above, I tried it again and it worked. Thank you to those who posted above; wish you all success in your work
