◇ 1. Unboxing inspection ◆ 1.1. Open the packaging and check the accessories: user manual, power cord (long-life models come with an additional battery cable as well). ◆ 1.2. Verify that this is indeed the model you intended to purchase. ◆ 1.3. Check whether this machine is intact during transportation. If any damage or missing parts are found, do not turn it on and inform the dealer. ◇ 2. Installation precautions ◆ 2.1. The UPS must be installed in an environment free from direct sunlight, with good ventilation, and away from water, flammable gases, and corrosive substances. ◆ 2.2. Keep the air inlet at the lower end of the front panel unobstructed, and ensure that the rear end is not too close to the wall or any other objects, so as to maintain unobstructed airflow at the rear outlet. ◆ 2.3. The ambient temperature around the UPS should be between 0°C and 40°C. ◆ 2.4. If the machine is disassembled and used in low temperatures, water droplets may form; it is essential to wait until both the inside and outside of the machine are completely dry before installing and using it, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. ◇ 3. Precautions for operation ◆ 3.1. When connecting to a laser printer, its startup power is quite high; therefore, when selecting a UPS, its capacity should be determined based on this startup power. ◆ 3.2. When connecting the load to the UPS, it is necessary to first turn off the load, then connect the wires, and finally turn on the load one by one. ◆ 3.3. Connect the UPS to a dedicated socket equipped with overcurrent protection; the power socket used should be connected to the protective ground terminal. ◆ 3.4. Whether the input power cable is plugged into a wall outlet or not, the UPS output can still be charged; turning off the UPS does not guarantee that there is no electricity inside the device. To prevent the UPS from delivering any output, press the “Shut Down” button on the panel and then disconnect the mains power. ◆ 3.5. For standard machines, it is recommended to charge the battery for 8 hours before use; by connecting the UPS to the mains power supply, the UPS will automatically charge the battery. It can also be used immediately, but the backup time will be less than the standard value. ◆ 3.6. When used with a generator, follow these steps: ★ Start the generator; once it is running stably, connect its output to the UPS input. (Make sure at this point that the UPS is unloaded), then start the UPS using its startup procedure. After the UPS is started, connect the loads one by one. ★ It is recommended to choose the generator capacity to be twice that of the UPS. .
