The tar produced is difficult to deal with, and at present, small-scale operations rely mainly on water filtration, resulting in relatively severe pollution. For large-scale installations, dolomite can be added, taking into account factors such as increasing the reaction temperature. Part of the tar is pyrolyzed. 3.
