What is the abbreviation for a serial port (such as RS485)?

When the DCS system counts I/O points, what is the abbreviation for serial ports such as RS485? Some use SI, while others use CIO – which one is more accurate?
I’ve seen design blueprints with SI written in serial ports, but I still haven’t encountered one like that among CIOs
The full Chinese name for a serial port is Serial Communication Interface, while its English name is serial interface. So it should be SI. As for the CIO, I haven’t had any contact with them yet, so I’m not very familiar.
There might not be any standard for this; it depends on the preferences of individual designers, so it’s not clear. I think SI is better. CIO means communication IO SI serial interface
